Gunmen Attack Church in Kwara State, Kill Three and Abduct Pastor in Eruku

Gunmen attacked a branch of the Christ Apostol Church (CAC) in Eruku, Kwara State, killing three individuals, including two fatally. The pastor was among those abducted during the Tuesday evening attack.

Residents described scenes of chaos as worshippers were forced into the bush at gunpoint. The community has endured repeated attacks in recent weeks, despite pleas for increased security measures.

The Kwara State Police Command confirmed the incident, with Mr. Toun Ejir Adeyemi stating that the police responded swiftly to the sound of gunshots.
