40th day prayer: Emulate Buhari, Showunmi tells Nigerian politicians

At the 40th-day prayer organized in Abeokuta, Ogun State for the late former President Buhari, who passed away at the age of 82, Nigerian politician Showunmi urged his colleagues to emulate Buhari's simple and moral lifestyle. Showunmi emphasized the importance of leaders living morally, as they are constantly being watched by the people.

He praised Buhari for living a sacrificial and disciplined life, urging current and future leaders to follow suit. The Chief Imam of Keesi Central Mosque in Abeokuta, Sheikh Akeem Olorunisola, led the prayer and advised Nigerians to emulate the good deeds of the former president, as everyone will be held accountable for their actions at the end of their lives.
