50,000 Dollar Up for Grab as Application Opens for Women Innovators Aurora Tech Award

The Aurora Tech Award, offering a $50,000 prize, is now open for applications for women innovators. The annual prize, organized by inDrive, is accepting submissions until August 12, 2026, with the winner set to be announced in early 2026.

Since its inception in 2021, the award has supported female tech founders who integrate social impact innovation, providing access to investors and mentorship. To qualify for the 2026 edition, applicants must be women who have started a business with a functioning prototype and have earned at least $6 million in total financing.

The program aims to be a launching pad for upcoming female entrepreneurs. The top three finalists will be revealed in early 2026, with the award ceremony scheduled for March or April.

Additionally, the Nigerian government has announced the second phase of the Creative Development Fund to support creative businesses and individuals.
