Kano Inmates Excel in NECO Exams with State Support

68 inmates in Kano passed the NECO exams with flying colors at the Inmates Continuity Education Center. The Kano State Government sponsored the inmates' educational advancement, aligning with the Correctional Service Act's emphasis on rehabilitation and education.

The success of the inmates in the exams was described as a turning point in their lives, reflecting the commitment to equip them with necessary skills for societal reintegration. The Controller General of Corrections, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, urged nationwide enrollment of inmates in academic and vocational programs to foster rehabilitation and productivity.
