Kira Taiwo Accuses Nigerians of Exploiting Ogogo's Illness

Kira Taiwo, the daughter of veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo, has publicly accused some Nigerians of attempting to exploit her father's battle with stage four cancer. During a TikTok live session on Saturday, she revealed that individuals offering assistance were making significant financial demands, including amounts like ₦800,000, ₦5 million, and $11,000.

Kira emphasized that her family is not financially capable of meeting such demands, as their primary focus is on securing treatment for her father. She also shared the emotional impact of the situation on her wellbeing, stating, “I want to check my BP; I am not okay too.” Kira mentioned that her father’s illness has deeply affected his brother, whom she referred to as her “big daddy,” highlighting the close bond between them.

She expressed her distress over the situation and her withdrawal from social media due to the emotional strain of seeing her father's condition. Kira concluded by affirming her deep connection to her father and the family's struggle during this challenging time.
