Tinubu Advocates Nigeria's UN Security Council Seat at 80th UNGA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria addressed the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, advocating for Nigeria to have a permanent seat on the UN Security Council for fair representation and reform. Tinubu emphasized Nigeria's role as a stabilizing force in regional security and global peacekeeping.

He stressed the importance of fairness in representation to restore credibility to the institution and promote multilateralism. The Nigerian delegation, led by Vice President Kasim Shettima, supported Tinubu's call for reform at the UNGA session.
