After Mohamed obtained his green card, their relationship soured, with Danielle feeling used. Despite their past, they reconciled as friends, with Mohamed visiting Danielle in Ohio in 2022.

Danielle has since graduated from nursing school and is focused on her career. Jason Hitch, who appeared alongside Cássia Tavares, died in January 2021 from complications related to Covid-19 at the age of 45.

Cássia, who now resides in Italy, married Giuseppe Compagnone in February 2021 and expressed condolences following Jason's death.
