Accord Party Dismisses Osun Parallel Primary as Political Charade

The Accord Party in Nigeria has rejected a parallel governorship primary in Osun State, calling it a political charade aimed at causing unrest. The party emphasized its commitment to Governor Ademola Adeleke and denounced the purported primary as an attempt by opportunists to unsettle the opposition.

The party disowned the exercise, stating it had no legitimacy or impact on the state's political reality. INEC had already disowned the exercise, confirming its unauthorized and irrelevant nature.
