Uba Sani Receives 2025 Governor of the Year Award

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, was honored with the 2025 Governor of the Year Award by Leadership Newspaper at its 18th award ceremony held in Abuja. This accolade recognizes his exemplary leadership and significant impact since assuming office on May 29, 2023.

The award was presented during an event that highlighted Sani's commitment to inclusivity and unity among the citizens of Kaduna, regardless of their religious or tribal affiliations. Sani's administration has prioritized four critical pillars: security, agriculture, infrastructure, and inclusive governance, forming the foundation of his transformative agenda.

Notably, he has initiated the commissioning of 140 road projects covering 1,335 kilometers across the state, aimed at improving connectivity and stimulating economic growth. The ceremony also acknowledged the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and recognized the efforts of Zainab Nda Isaiah, the chairman of the media group, in preserving the legacy of the awards.
