AACIS'26 to Boost $40 Trillion Africa-Caribbean Trade

The Africa-Caribbean Investment Summit (AACIS'26) is scheduled for March 23-28, 2026, with a focus on enhancing trade and investment between Africa and the Caribbean, targeting a combined market value of $40 trillion. Serumun Ubwa, Chief of Staff at Aquarian Consult Ltd, disclosed this during a briefing in Abuja.
The summit aims to connect African businesses with Caribbean partners, attract foreign investment, and promote sustainable economic collaboration across key sectors. Following the inaugural AACIS in 2025, which achieved significant outcomes such as establishing the first direct flight from Africa to Saint Kitts and Nevis and signing a $40 million agreement for a deep-water port, the 2026 summit will introduce two special events: the Africa-Caribbean Agriculture and Food Security Summit (March 23-24) and the Africa-Caribbean Health Summit (March 26).
The summit is expected to attract around 2,000 participants, including current and former heads of government, sovereign wealth fund leaders, and private sector representatives.
