ACI 2026 to Launch $40 Trillion Investment Market

The Africa-Caribbean Investment Summit (ACI) 2026, scheduled for March 23-28, 2026, aims to open a $40 trillion investment market between Africa and the Caribbean. Serumun Ubwa, Chief of Staff at Aquarian Consult Ltd, disclosed this during a briefing in Abuja.

The summit is designed to connect African businesses with Caribbean partners, attract foreign investment, and promote sustainable economic collaboration. Notable achievements leading up to the summit include the establishment of the first direct flight between Africa and Saint Kitts and Nevis and a $40 million deep-water port agreement.

The summit will introduce two specialized events: the Africa-Caribbean Agriculture and Food Security Summit on March 23-24 and the Africa-Caribbean Health Summit on March 26. The event expects around 2,000 participants, including current and former heads of government, sovereign wealth fund leaders, and private sector executives, aiming to strengthen cooperation in agriculture and healthcare while enhancing food security and reducing import dependence in the Caribbean.
