Leke Abejide Celebrates 20 Years of Marriage with Faith

Leke Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives for Yagba Federal Constituency, celebrated his wife Esther Abejide's 50th birthday alongside their 20th wedding anniversary during a thanksgiving service held in Abuja. The event, which took place at Christ Wisdom Gospel Church in Kubwa, highlighted the significance of resilience and mutual understanding in marriage, especially amid current economic pressures.

Abejide attributed the success of their two-decade marriage to biblical teachings, particularly from Ephesians chapter 5, which emphasizes love and submission between spouses. He cautioned couples against allowing economic hardships to weaken their relationships and urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in faith to overcome difficulties.

Esther Abejide also spoke, emphasizing patience and prayer as cornerstones of a long-term marriage. The event concluded with a donation of an 18-seater bus from the Abejide family to support the church's evangelistic efforts.
