Abia APC Chieftain Drags Governor Otti to EFCC Over N54bn School Funds

Abia State's APC chieftain, Eze Chikamnayo, has petitioned the EFCC and ICPC against Governor Alex Otti over the alleged mismanagement of N54 billion meant for school renovations. Chikamnayo accused Otti's administration of systemic corruption, citing the lack of transparency in the allocation and execution of the funds.

He called for a thorough investigation by national bodies and international organizations. Despite the substantial budget, no significant progress in school infrastructure has been observed in Abia State, with most public schools still in dire conditions.

The move highlights concerns about financial accountability and the need for proper utilization of public funds in the state.
