Abia Governor Appoints Daniel Ek as Enyimba FC's New Sporting Director

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has approved the appointment of Mr. Daniel Ek as the new Sporting Director for Enyimba FC in Aba.

This decision follows the resignation of the former Sporting Director, Mr. Ifeanyi Ekwuem.

Ek is recognized for his successful career in football management and player development, having served in various technical and managerial capacities across Nigerian clubs. The appointment of Ek is part of the state government's efforts to revitalize Enyimba FC and position it as a top football club in Africa.

Additionally, Mr. Uch Ikechukwu Duli has been sworn in as a member of the Enyimba FC board to enhance the club's leadership structure.

The state government is committed to restoring Enyimba's legacy and improving its competitive standing in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). The move underscores the urgent need for strategic reforms in the club's management, administration, and technical direction to regain its historical success and elevate its position in the league.
