Otti Appoints Emmanuel Deutsch as Enyimba's New Coach

On Tuesday, Abia State Governor Alex Otti unveiled Emmanuel Gustav Deutsch as the new head coach of Enyimba International FC during a high-level meeting at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba. Otti also announced the removal of the club's accountant as part of efforts to restore professionalism and stability within the club.

He confirmed the appointment of Daniel Ek as the club's sports director. The governor assured the management, technical crew, players, and staff of a firm commitment to the immediate settlement of outstanding arrears, including salaries, allowances, and welfare obligations, emphasizing that the welfare of players and staff is a fundamental priority.

Otti urged the management, staff, and players to embrace new reforms and reiterated the state government's resolve to restore the club to its pride of place in Nigeria and the global football arena. Team captain Kalu Nweke and assistant captain Ufer Chinedu highlighted challenges such as unpaid salaries and welfare support for injured players, calling for urgent government intervention.
