Abia State to Host Business Roundtable on March 5, 2026

Abia State is set to hold a business roundtable on March 5, 2026, at the International Conference Centre in Umuahia, with the aim of boosting collaboration between the government and the private sector. The event will be presided over by Governor Alex Otti and is designed to provide a platform for exchanging ideas among members of the business community across the country.

Okei Kanu, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Abia State Public-Private Partnership Office, disclosed this during a joint press conference on Friday at the Government House in Umuahia. The roundtable will facilitate discussions on issues of common interest, promoting business opportunities in Abia State, and attracting investors.

Chinedum Chijiok emphasized the need for a structured platform for engagement between the government and the business community to address challenges and shape policies related to the business environment. The event is expected to draw business leaders from various sectors, with a focus on creating a conducive environment for economic development.
