Governor Otti Launches $35M Industrial Facility in Aba

On March 25, 2026, Abia State Governor Alex Otti commissioned a $35 million industrial facility, the Ultimum Beverage product plant, located in the Osisioma Industrial Layout of Aba. This facility is part of a broader $100 million investment plan aimed at strengthening industrial activity in Aba, a city known for its commercial manufacturing.

Governor Otti emphasized that the project signifies renewed private sector interest in the state and reflects ongoing efforts to improve the business environment and attract investments. The establishment of this facility is expected to promote confidence in Aba's economic potential, particularly following recent infrastructure improvements.

The project will generate employment opportunities across various product administration and distribution sectors, supporting suppliers and logistics operations within the value chain. The Kadji Group, responsible for the facility, expressed gratitude to Governor Otti for the swift reconstruction of a 1.2 km road leading to the plant.

The Abia State government finalized the acquisition of the facility following a payment of N500 million, aligning with plans to revitalize critical industries in Aba.
