Abia Polytechnic Regains Accreditation for 33 Courses, Introduces 17 New Programs

Abia Polytechnic, now Onu Polytechnic Aba, has regained accreditation for 33 courses previously lost and introduced 17 new courses. The institution's rector, Christopher Okoro, highlighted improvements in result processing to prevent exploitation.

Salary arrears have been cleared, and staff promotions are ongoing. The Nigerian Union of Journalists commended the rector for transforming the polytechnic within two years.

The institution aims to enhance the quality of education and administrative processes for students and staff.
