Abiodun Urges Collaborative Efforts to Combat Poverty in Nigeria

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to combat poverty in Nigeria during the 12th Annual Lecture on Poverty Alleviation and Economic Development. Governor Abiodun highlighted the importance of cooperation among institutions, individuals, corporations, and the government to address the poverty crisis in the country.

He stressed that poverty alleviation is a collective responsibility that requires the involvement of all sectors of society. The event, held at Harbour Point in Lagos, aimed to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Foursquare Gospel Church.

Governor Abiodun called for a united front to break the cycle of poverty and build a more stable and prosperous Nigerian economy through joint efforts and partnerships.
