Abuja City Gate Transformation Inaugurated by Tinubu

The Abuja City Gate transformation project, described as a symbol of national renewal and urban modernization, was inaugurated on Thursday by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during a ceremony that also marked the third anniversary of his administration and the 50th anniversary of the Federal Capital Territory. The project, executed by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, was commended by Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, for significantly enhancing the appearance of Nigeria's capital.

The redesign includes a water fountain representing Nigeria's 36 states and aims to provide visitors with a first-class impression of Abuja. The project was completed within the timeline set by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

Wike announced a memorandum of understanding with Julius Berger for the maintenance of the monument, ensuring it remains in excellent condition. The transformation reflects the administration's commitment to building a capital city that matches Nigeria's aspirations.
