Abuja Park Demolition Sparks Outcry Over Alleged Corruption

Sodic Park Garden Ltd, a popular relaxation park in Abuja, Nigeria, has cried out over its demolition, alleging corrupt practices. The management, led by Chinedu Ogbonna, accused unknown authorities of unlawfully demolishing the park within the Life Camp area.

In an open letter to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, dated October 13, 2025, they expressed appreciation for infrastructure development but requested fair treatment within the confines of the law. The park acknowledged the efforts of Julius Berger Nigeria Ltd in supervising the Federal Capital Development Authority's projects.

The outfit also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister Wike for their infrastructure initiatives in Abuja.
