AC Milan Falls to Sassuolo; Juventus Draws with Verona

AC Milan faced a disappointing 2-0 defeat against Sassuolo on a Sunday, which was their fourth loss in the last seven matches, leaving them trailing Inter Milan by 12 points in the Serie A standings. The match saw Fikayo Tomori sent off in the 24th minute, and Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi opened the scoring shortly after.

Juventus, meanwhile, stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Verona at home, failing to capitalize on AC Milan's earlier slip. Kieron Bowi scored for Verona, while Dusan Vlahov equalized for Juventus with a free kick in the 61st minute.

Juventus took 23 shots but struggled to break through Verona's defense. Massimiliano Allegri, the coach of Juventus, expressed frustration over the team's performance and emphasized the need to secure Champions League qualification in the remaining matches.
