Health experts and policymakers in Africa are collaborating to address the high maternal and child mortality rates on the continent. The first-ever region think tank meeting focused on implementing maternal, newborn, and child health initiatives to bridge the gap between research and real-world impact.

Taiwo Amol from the African Center of Excellence in Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) is leading trials in Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa to implement life-saving interventions.
