Access Bank to Drive Africa's Trade Ambitions at Cape Town Conference 2026

Access Bank Plc has announced plans to host the second edition of the Africa Trade Conference (ATC) in 2026 in Cape Town. The conference is designed to accelerate Africa's influence in shaping the future of global trade.

The inaugural edition of the conference brought together senior decision-makers from 28 countries. The ATC 2026 will focus on the theme "Turn Vision into Velocity: Building Africa's Trade Ecosystem for Real-World Impact." It will feature a rich program with high-impact sessions, including ministerial panels, high-level plenaries, partner-led workshops, innovation exhibits, media content studios, curated networking lounges, awards, cultural showcases, and more.

Roosevelt Ogbonna, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, described the ATC as a traditional gathering that is no longer on the margins of global trade. The bank aims to play a significant role in helping African businesses make a meaningful impact locally and globally by fostering collaboration and catalyzing capital flows.
