ACCI Launches Agro Expo 2026 to Boost Agriculture

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), led by President Emeka Obegolu, has unveiled plans for the Agro Expo 2026, set to take place on June 10-11, 2026, in Abuja. This initiative aims to boost agricultural mechanization, attract investments, and strengthen Nigeria's export capacity.

The expo, themed "Technology, Investment, Agro Export," will serve as a premier marketplace for innovation and partnership across the agricultural business value chain. It aligns with national priorities such as food security and economic diversification.

The event will feature advanced farm technologies, including mechanization equipment and climate-smart solutions, and will host plenary sessions, technical discussions, and workshops to foster collaboration and facilitate investment deals. The expo will also include a school agro exhibit competition to encourage youth participation in the sector.

Obegolu expressed confidence that the expo will catalyze investment inflows and promote technology transfer essential for transforming Nigeria's agricultural sector.
