Olaiya Igwe Clarifies Health Rumors from Viral Video

Veteran Nollywood actor Olaiya Igwe has dismissed rumors regarding his health after a viral video surfaced, showing him looking frail and unwell. The video, which circulated online last week, led to speculation about his wellbeing.

Olaiya Igwe explained that the footage was taken during a movie production where he was acting as a sick father, directed by veteran actor and filmmaker Mr Latin. He stated that his convincing performance led many viewers to believe he was genuinely ill.

In a response via his Instagram page, he expressed disappointment over negative reactions, particularly from individuals wishing him harm, and reassured his fans that he is healthy. He urged those concerned about him to disregard the illness rumors, emphasizing that he was merely acting.

Olaiya Igwe reiterated that the video was part of an Oga Latin movie and confirmed that he remains in good health, addressing the public's concerns effectively.
