Foluke Daramola Joins APC Race for House Seat 2027

Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has officially entered the political arena by picking up a nomination form from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Daramola announced her candidacy on her Facebook page, sharing a photo of herself with the nomination form and confirming her intent to run for office.

She has previously expressed her desire to engage with the constituency through public messages focused on governance and social development. In her statement, she pledged to support legislation aimed at improving worker welfare.

Daramola described herself as a servant of the people and offered prayers for the residents of her constituency. She joins a growing list of entertainers entering politics, including Cubana Chief Priest, who has also purchased a nomination form for a House of Representatives seat in Imo State, and actor Zubbi Michael, who declared his interest in a federal legislative position with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
