Laide Bakare Announces Third Marriage Plans in Interview

Laide Bakare, a Nollywood actress and producer, has announced her intention to marry for the third time during a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolad. This will be her first official marriage, despite having two previous marriages that ended in separation.

Her first marriage was to Olumid Okufulur, a businessman based in the U.S., with whom she shares a daughter named Simi. After their separation, she remarried Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and they had two sons together.

However, she left Orilowo amid reports of financial issues and allegations of fraud linked to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2014. In a prior interview on the Real Life Aunti Ayo podcast, Bakare mentioned that she had been open to marriage five times, but previous unions did not work out.

She is currently preparing for her third marriage, although she has not disclosed the wedding date or the identity of her future husband.
