ADC Chairman, Nafiu Bala Denies Resignation Reports

ADC Chairman Nafiu Bala has denied reports of his resignation in a statement issued by the Director of Media and Public Affairs Office of the National Chairman. The document in question, dated May 18, 2025, did not carry Bala's signature or official stamp, according to the statement.

The ADC's Okechukwu emphasized that Bala has not vacated his position and remains the constitutionally recognized leader of the party. Okechukwu further clarified that Bala had resigned from his position as Deputy National Chairman, which was a legitimate process.

The party leadership also highlighted that any individual seeking a leadership position within the ADC must be a registered member for at least one year and fulfill financial obligations. The statement urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to disregard any unauthorized documentation and recognize Bala's leadership.

Members nationwide were called upon to remain vigilant.
