ADC Faction Rejects Bolaji Abdullahi as Spokesman

A faction within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly rejected Bolaji Abdullahi's claim to the role of national spokesman, labeling his statements as an attempt to take over the party. Christoph Okechuku, identified as the director of media and public affairs for the faction, described Abdullahi's recent remarks as a "bundle of falsehoods" and questioned his legitimacy within the party.

Okechuku challenged Abdullahi to clarify his membership status, emphasizing that he has not provided honest answers regarding his affiliation with the ADC. The faction accused Abdullahi of undermining the party's constitution and pursuing power without following due process.

They dismissed claims allegedly made by Abdullahi regarding a plot by Bola Tinubu to impose leadership on the party as baseless. Okechuku reaffirmed the faction's commitment to maintaining the party's structure and legitimacy, asserting that attempts to hijack the ADC would fail.
