ADC Accuses Bolaji Abdullahi of Leadership Hijack Attempt

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly addressed allegations made by Bolaji Abdullahi regarding a supposed plot to take over the party's leadership. Christoph Okechiku, the ADC's Director of Media and Public Affairs, issued a statement refuting Abdullahi's claims, describing them as falsehoods and an attempt to undermine the party's structure.

Okechiku questioned Abdullahi's membership status and suggested that he has not clearly stated when he formally joined the party. The ADC's statement emphasized that Abdullahi's comments were not only misleading but also indicative of a broader conspiracy against the party.

Okechiku further alleged that party chairmen aligned with Abdullahi's camp were pursuing illegitimate agendas. He urged Abdullahi to reconsider his approach and build his own political party rather than attempting to hijack the ADC, asserting that the party's leadership remains solid and legitimate.
