Edo APC Chairman Accuses ADC of Being Filled With Gay People, Dismisses Opposition

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Jarrett Teneb, has dismissed the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) by claiming it is filled with gay people and lacks political value. Teneb's remarks were in response to former APC national chairman and ex-Edo governor, John Odigie Oyegun, joining the ADC, causing concerns about the growing influence of the opposition party in Edo State.

Teneb emphasized that the APC is focused on strengthening its structures ahead of future elections and remains in firm control of Edo politics. He accused the ADC of struggling with internal problems, including disputes within the party.

Teneb also alleged that some men associated with the ADC had failed to pay their dues to the APC, hinting at potential financial issues within the opposition party. The ongoing registration exercise of political parties in Edo State has attracted new members, with the ADC gaining attention due to Odigie Oyegun's involvement.
