ADC Chieftain Accuses Party of Looting El-Rufai's Legacy

Nake Ayekooto, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), claimed that the ADC has looted the remnants of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai's political legacy, leaving him politically bare. Ayekooto made this statement in a post on a microblogging platform on Monday, although he did not clearly specify the reasons for his claim.

His remarks are likely connected to internal crises rocking the ADC, particularly in Kaduna State, where the party is facing internal disputes following the outcomes of the primary elections conducted earlier this year.
