ADC Candidates Free from Corruption Allegations Ahead of 2027

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that the party's candidates do not have any corruption allegations associated with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Speaking in Ilorin, he emphasized that the ADC remains an independent political platform, rejecting any suggestions of a merger with opposition parties.

Abdullahi noted that the party is preparing for the 2027 elections by conducting primaries for various positions, including state houses of assembly, house of representatives, senate, and governorship. He highlighted the importance of integrity in the candidate selection process and called on Nigerians to support the ADC as it seeks to address issues such as insecurity and economic hardship.

Abdullahi also mentioned the establishment of a caretaker committee to oversee the party's affairs in Kwara State due to the inability to conduct congresses amid pending litigation. He expressed confidence that the ADC would form a government at both the state and national levels in 2027.
