Hayatu-Deen Advocates for Serious Leadership in ADC Primaries

Moham Hayatu-Deen, the presidential aspirant for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed party delegates in Abuja, urging them to select serious leadership over recycled politics in the upcoming presidential primaries. He described the primaries as a defining moment for the party and Nigeria's political future ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hayatu-Deen emphasized that the ADC primaries are not merely about selecting candidates but are crucial for determining the party's commitment to rescuing Nigeria and providing credible alternatives to failed governance. He argued that his candidacy represents a departure from established political figures and aims to bridge regional and religious divides.

Hayatu-Deen highlighted pressing issues such as insecurity, unemployment, and economic decline in states including Benu, Plateau, Niger, Nasarawa, and Kogi. He pledged to prioritize security and economic recovery, including job creation and youth empowerment initiatives.

Hayatu-Deen defended the autonomy of political parties and framed the primaries as a test of ADC's credibility amidst widespread dissatisfaction with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
