Galadima Calls ADC Judgment a Booby Trap, Urges NDC Unity

In a Monday interview with Channels Television, Buba Galadima, a prominent figure in the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), described the recent Supreme Court judgment concerning the leadership tussle within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a "booby trap." He expressed concern that the judgment could further divide the opposition coalition. Galadima's appeal was directed at political heavyweights, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, to defect from the ADC to the NDC.

He emphasized the need for unity among opposition parties to effectively challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections. Galadima also mentioned the potential for other notable politicians, such as former presidential candidate Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), to join the NDC in this effort.
