PDP Confirms Adeleke Remains a Member Amidst Speculations

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman affirmed that Governor Adeleke of Osun State has not left the party and is preparing to run for the 2026 governorship election. The PDP's National Working Committee (NWC) met in Abuja to discuss party matters, including Adeleke's status and upcoming congresses in Osun State.

The chairman also commented on the nominations of former governors Okezie Ikpeazu and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as well as the ambassadorial appointment of Bola Tinubu. The PDP remains focused on national security concerns and called for a revamp of the country's security architecture.
