JAMB Screens 176 Underage Candidates with High Scores in 2025 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) conducted a screening exercise for 176 underage candidates with high scores in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The exercise, overseen by experts, involved written exams followed by face-to-face interviews to assess the candidates' readiness for tertiary education.

Prof. Taohe Adedoja expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise in Abuja, Owerri, and Lagos.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will determine when the results of the screening will be released.

Senator Moham Muntari Danduts commended JAMB for providing a platform for talented underage candidates to showcase their abilities and emphasized the importance of selecting the best talents for national development.
