CAF Rejects Morocco's Protest Against Senegal in AFCON 2025 Final

CAF's disciplinary board found insufficient grounds to uphold Morocco's protest, confirming Senegal's 1-0 victory in the intense final where Pape Gueye scored the winning goal in extra time. The protest revolved around articles 82 and 84 of the AFCON regulations, which outline consequences for teams leaving the pitch prematurely or violating provisions.

Despite Morocco's efforts, CAF upheld Senegal's victory, crowning them as the champions of Africa.
