Super Eagles Demand Bigger Bonuses for AFCON 2025 in Morocco

The Super Eagles have requested a larger bonus package from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. This demand comes after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed an increase in prize money for the competition.

The NFF proposed an increment in the bonus package as the team advances in the tournament. Previously, the defending champions, Cote d'Ivoire, received $7 million for winning the title at home in 2023, while the Super Eagles got $4 million for finishing as runners-up.
