Senegal Appeals CAF's Controversial AFCON Verdict

CAF ruled that Senegal forfeited the match due to a walk-off incident, resulting in a 3-0 victory for Morocco.

This decision was made after a chaotic scene during the final, where a Senegalese player briefly left the pitch, leading to a disallowed goal and a penalty awarded to Morocco. The Senegalese Football Federation criticized the CAF's decision as damaging to the credibility of African football and described it as unprecedented and unacceptable.
