AFN Unveils 24-Athlete Team for 2026 World Relays

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has officially released a squad of 24 athletes who will represent Nigeria at the upcoming 2026 World Relays, set to take place on May 2-3 in Gaborone, Botswana. The Nigerian team will compete across six relay categories: men's 4x100m, women's 4x100m, men's 4x400m, women's 4x400m, mixed 4x100m, and mixed 4x400m.

The men's 4x100m team includes athletes Enoch Adegok, Favour Tejir, James Taiwo, Emmanuel Chidera Ezeakor, and Godwin. The men's 4x400m team features Ezekiel Enoh, Azukwo Gafari Badmu, Victor Im Samson, Nathaniel Emmanuel Oj, and Chidi Okezi.

The women's 4x100m team comprises Jenif Chukwuka, Rosemari Chukwuma, Miracle Ezechukwu, Rosemari Nwankwo, Bless Ogundiran, and Maria Thompson Omokw. The women's 4x400m team includes Anita Enaruna, Patience Okon, Georg Toheebat Jimoh, Taiwo Mari Kudoro, Jecinta Lawrence, and Esther Okon.

The mixed 4x100m team consists of Enoch Adegok, Rosemari Chukwuma, James Taiwo, Emmanuel Chidera Ezeaku, Miracle Ezechukwu, and Bless Ogundiran, while the mixed 4x400m team features Sekiru Adewal Adeyemi, Anita Enaruna, Patience Okon, Georg Toheebat Jimoh, and Emmanuel Oj Chidi Okezi.
