Kunle Afolayan to Premiere "Aníkúlápó: The Ghoul Awakens" Season 2 on Netflix

Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan is gearing up to premiere the second season of his series, "Aníkúlápó: The Ghoul Awakens," in 2022. The show follows the story of a young cloth weaver who returns from death after an unexpected demise linked to an affair with an Alaafin's wife.

The upcoming season will delve deeper into the protagonist's journey beyond the Oyo Kingdom, facing new challenges and characters. The series features a returning cast including Kunle Afolayan, Remi Bimbo, Antar Laniyan, and Saidi Balogun, alongside new characters.

The exclusive premiere of "Aníkúlápó: The Ghoul Awakens" season 2 is set for January 30 on Netflix.
