African Democratic Congress Certifies Oluwadar Patrick Bajid as Ekiti Governorship Candidate

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abuja has officially endorsed Oluwadar Patrick Bajid as its flag bearer for the Ekiti governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2026. The ceremony was attended by prominent figures like Senator David Mark and Deputy National Chairman Babachir Lawal.

Bajid vows to rescue Ekiti from infrastructural challenges and poverty, promising to dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. As a former Nigerian ambassador to Canada, Bajid pledges to prioritize civil servant welfare, enhance productivity, and revive the agricultural sector, which is the traditional economic backbone of Ekiti.

The ADC expresses confidence in Bajid's ability to lead Ekiti to prosperity.
