New Book "Afrilition" Promotes African Excellence

"Afrilition," a new book by Adéwálé Àjàdí, sets out to establish a critical pathway towards African excellence, encouraging a shift in perspective about Africa's potential. The book calls for action among the youth, who represent 50% of the population in developing countries, to realize the promises of the 21st century.

It discusses the historical context of enslavement, colonialism, and ongoing social and economic injustices, urging a focus on authentic development rather than competition. The narrative emphasizes the importance of women’s engagement and youth contributions in building a resilient future for Africa.

Professor Funmilayo Olonisakin, who is associated with King's College London and the African Leadership Centre, wrote the foreword, highlighting the book's significance in expressing African wisdom. The work aims to inspire a generation to overcome past challenges and create a prosperous future.
