Daniel Obah Links Africa's Progress to Leadership Quality

Daniel Obah, a public sector professional and author, has connected Africa's long-term economic and social progress to the quality of its leadership and the values of its citizens. Speaking in Lagos, he stated that sustainable regional development relies on strong public institutions, personal responsibility, integrity, and ethical citizenship.

He highlighted that while policies and public systems may be well-designed, the effectiveness ultimately depends on the people's adherence to rules and the ethical use of authority. Obah has authored several books, including ‘The Key to a Great Africa’ and ‘Think and Live (Wisdom Capsules)’, which aim to inspire broader institutional reform.

He operates a non-profit organization, Value Reorientation and Developmental Initiative Africa (VARDIAFRICA), focusing on transferring principles from his books to schools and communities, particularly targeting youth. Obah stressed that ethical reorientation is essential for Africa's stability and called for better leadership and accountable governance.
