Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr Vie for AFRIMA Artiste of the Year

Nigerian music heavyweights Davido, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy are set to battle for the Artiste of the Year award at the 11th edition of the Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA). Burna Boy and Davido lead with five nominations each, while Shallipopi follows closely with four.

The global public voting for the awards commences on September 10, with the ceremony scheduled to be hosted in Nigeria between November 25 and 30, 2025. Other notable nominees include Rema and El Grande Toto.
