Joshua vs Itauma Fight Scheduled for Nigeria Next Year

Promoter Ezekiel Adamu has announced plans for a highly anticipated boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Mose Itauma in Nigeria next year. This announcement follows Joshua's recent showdown with Tyson Fury.

Adamu revealed that discussions have already taken place with Frank Warren regarding the fight, which is seen as a long-term target for Joshua, who has Nigerian heritage. Joshua previously received an offer to fight in Nigeria last year, which did not materialize due to a car accident near Lagos.

Adamu expressed confidence that the fight will happen, stating he is "100 percent certain" Joshua will fight in Nigeria. The promoter is hopeful that a fight card featuring Chris Eubank Jr. in December will help build momentum for the Joshua-Itauma bout.

Adamu also mentioned that the fight could be a major event, potentially broadcast by DAZN, and emphasized the importance of government support for the event.
