Anthony Joshua Open to Future Fight with Mose Itauma

Anthony Joshua, a two-time world heavyweight champion, stated he is fully open to a fight with fellow British-Nigerian Mose Itauma, who is seen as a potential heir to the heavyweight throne. In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Joshua responded positively when asked about facing the 21-year-old Itauma, saying, "Yeah man, why not bro, let’s go." Joshua is scheduled to fight Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with a long-anticipated showdown against Tyson Fury expected to follow in November.

Itauma, who has a record of 14-0, has yet to face a significant challenge, with none of his fights exceeding 18 minutes. His first major test is anticipated to be against Croatian contender Filip Hrgovic, which is expected to take place in the first half of 2027.

Frank Warren is expected to confirm the Hrgovic fight around late August.
