Aliyu Zubairu Joins Al Ahli Madani as Head Coach

Aliyu Zubairu, the former head coach of Nigeria's U-20 national team, has secured a new position as the head coach of Sudanese club Al Ahli Madani on a two-year contract. This appointment follows a mutual termination of his contract with Egyptian second division side Telecom SC, which occurred just two days prior.

Zubairu, 62, is expected to leverage his extensive coaching experience to strengthen Al Ahli Madani's squad and improve their performance in continental competitions. His previous success includes leading El Kanemi Warriors to victory in the President's Federation Cup, marking the club's first major trophy in years.
